Thornybush Game Reserve now boasts a Main Lodge with stylish air-conditioned suites and extensive living areas over looking the seasonal Monwana River. Thornybush Main Lodge has 18 suites and 2 family suites and can cater for up to 40 guests.
Between exciting safaris take a moment to browse in the intimate library or simply relax at the pool with your favourite cocktail as you bask in Africa's glorious sunshine. Thornybush Main Lodge awaits discovery by the discerning traveller where attention to detail and highly personalised service makes for a memorable stay. Daily outings on foot or in open game-viewing vehicles, informal talks and presentations concerning the environment and its creatures, are conducted by dedicated, expertly trained game rangers. An airy lounge, rustic bar and patio overlook the Monwana River bed. Excellent cuisine can be savoured in the bush or air-conditioned dining room, or at the fireside in the "boma" under a canopy of stars.

Thornybush Game Reserve's recently introduced health and beauty treatments are proving popular with the guests. The Guerlain Institute spa offers 18 treatments, including full-body exfoliating, at good value.
There are 20 luxury suites, including two family suites. The family suites are of larger dimension and include an inclusive lounge, which is able to accommodate two children, all sharing the same en-suite facility, these are included in the 20-suite complement and are based on the family suite facilities but now include a private plunge pool, personal butler service, the option of private meals, all local wines, spirits and malts.
It is important to note that should both safari suites be booked by one party, we will provide an exclusive Landrover with unlimited safaris. Spaciously appointed, each glass-fronted suite has a mini bar fridge, telephone, in and outdoor showers, air conditioners and generous decks.
