In recognition of its rich cultural, historical and environmental significance, Bushmans Kloof has been declared a South African Natural Heritage site.
Kloof are between two mountain fynbos and succulent Karoo where wildlife.
Since 1992, Bushmans Kloof has embodied the rebirth and development of this sanctuary, with a mission to create a thriving wilderness which nurtures its indigenous life, protects its history and secures its future.

Trained guides conduct daily rock-art walks with interpretations that provide insight, and a deeper understanding of these rare archeological sites.

Bushmans Kloof lies between two vegetation biomes - dry mountain fynbos and succulent Karoo - where wildlife and an immense diversity of plant life intermingle. In Spring the reserve explodes into a kaleidoscope of colour. Wild flowers stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a spectacle that must be seen to be believed. Bushmans Kloof is a premier spring flower.
